The FinKa is not just a place of rooms, but of traces. Small details, people, and memories that have stayed — and tell more than they first seem.

Hoila from the FinKa!

Over a glass of wine, I had a thought: our FinKa needs a voice out into the world. Because here in Val Venosta, the stories are piling up — too many to keep to ourselves.

Smuggling and tax evasion used to be reported here; today, we report from the FinKa. What was once strictly confidential is now out in the open: festivals and culinary pleasures, dumpling philosophy and long communal tables. Road trips through the valley, real moments of Val Venosta hospitality — and yes, my own wanderlust.

And if you don’t just want to read these stories, but experience them, then come by the FinKa Kulturhostel in Mals.

Enough reading.
Come by.
The stories are made here — in the rooms, at the breakfast table, along the cycle path. If you want to experience them, the best way is to stay right here at the FinKa.
